Sprucevale Gristmill
Gretchens Lock Walk
17 October 2009
There were four people who went into the Grist Mill alone and stayed in there for 5 minutes. Nick, in the white. Sarah in the green. Alan in the orange and Alex is the last one. Believe me, 5 minutes alone in the that building might sound easy, but it is no easy task. You are surrounded by blackness, often to where you can't see your hand in front of your face. Then your other senses kick in. You hear every single ghost that inhabits the area and it feels like they are surrounding you. A breeze touches your face. You can almost smell the damp earth you are standing on. There is a tapping sound that seems to be getting closer and closer. Or so you think. Almost worse than that is the walk out when you are done. It is like some one is following you. These people are definitely braver than most. And they face each day now knowing they were brave enough to spend 5 minutes alone in one of the most haunted places in Ohio. The Grist Mill at Gretchen's Lock.
